Andsadly, I don't think you can share saved games between players, since Ubisoft doesn't support that in their more modern games that are tied to specific user accounts. I know it doesn't help you, but I've been there and lost similar progress in other games. But I'd rather lose progress in a great game than a crappy one. Ifyou can open your saved data in PS4 mode, save it to the cloud and or USB manually. Then switch to PS5 mode and try to load one of those files. If that works, then immediately create a new save file from within PS5 mode. This should be your new uncorrupted file.

Also Uplay auto syncs it to their online server, so if you didn't have it, it would automatically download it. I will be keeping the save data. I am thinking that when I go and "delete local files" for AC on steam that it will delete everything including the save files. I am going to make a copy and keep them.
GuysI need help I lost my save file and I don't know what happened but the least thing that I remember was I was trying animus control panel and played for a bit but then after I restarted the game *poof* the save file with no acp got lost and only the acp save file is present. What that does is launch the game, where there's no save file and I only get an option to start a new game, and as soon as I exit the game it, you guessed it, overwrites the cloud save. .
